What herbal remedies are allowed during pregnancy?

Issue:
1
Year:

You can safely use decoctions and infusions of chamomile, sage, elecampane, calendula, yarrow from the Kulyasovo & Mamadysh series to gargle with colds and infectious diseases or to treat skin diseases. Aloe leaves (cut in half longitudinally) can be applied with pulp to wounds, burns, painful and bleeding gums. Also, a decoction of a series is perfect for relieving skin inflammation. In addition, many herbs carry a risk to the health of a pregnant woman and fetus only with prolonged oral administration in excessive dosages. And in moderation and with a short course, they can be useful. These are, for example, chamomile, mother-and-stepmother, calamus, valerian officinalis. The decision on the appropriateness of their use and dosage should be made by a doctor, correlating the potential benefits and harms during pregnancy.
